JANUARY 12, 2025 SERVICE CHANGE
Madison County Transit (MCT) will be implementing its Winter Service Change on Sunday, January 12, 2025. The adjustments will provide better accessibility for students, solidify the success of the MCT Micro service, and optimize several existing routes.

Service Adjustments Effective Sunday, January 12
Expand MCT Student Monthly Pass Eligibility
To support students throughout Madison County, MCT will extend eligibility for the MCT Student Monthly Pass to all students from kindergarten through college/university with a valid student ID.
MCT Micro to Become Permanent Fixture in Collinsville
Following the success of the pilot program, MCT Micro in Collinsville will now be a permanent offering.
#9 Washington Shuttle & #10 State & Elm Shuttle:
The first #9 northbound trip at 8:48 a.m. will be discontinued due to low ridership. Adjustments on the #10 will ensure passengers from the Bachman Home can still access the Beverly Farm Developmental Training and Work Center.
#13X Highland-SIUE Express
Route will continue to operate serving passengers traveling from Highland, St. Jacob, and Troy to SIUE.
#15 East Collinsville Shuttle
Route will be discontinued, as MCT Micro will effectively cover the area, ensuring continued access for residents.
#18 Collinsville Regional
The last northbound trip to Collinsville Station will be adjusted to end at 11:41 p.m. on weekdays, and the last southbound trip to Emerson Park will end at 12:13 a.m.
#19 Edwardsville-Collinsville
The last northbound trip to Edwardsville Station will now end at 11:16 p.m. on weekdays, with the last southbound trip to Collinsville ending at 11:47 p.m.
#20X Gateway Commerce Center Express:
An early Monday morning trip will be added, aligning with other weekday trips to streamline service hours.
