JULY 12, 2026 SERVICE CHANGE
Madison County Transit (MCT) will be implementing its July Service Change on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The adjustments will improve reliability, convenience, and access across the region.
Below is a summary of all the changes.
Service Adjustments Effective Sunday, July 12
Service from Godfrey and Bethalto will be discontinued. All #1X trips will begin at Eastgate Park & Ride in East Alton in the mornings, and end there in the afternoons.
Trips between Alton Station and Humbert Road will be discontinued. All other trips remain the same.
The #13 Troy – Glen Carbon will be discontinued. Riders in this area may be served by MCT Micro – Troy | Maryville.
A new MCT Micro zone will launch in the Troy and Maryville area providing on-demand transportation. Riders in this area should use MCT Micro – Troy | Maryville for trips previously made on the #13.
Monday- Friday: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The last PM trip will be discontinued.
