
AUGUST 10, 2025 SERVICE CHANGE
Madison County Transit (MCT) will be implementing its Fall Service Change on Sunday, August 10, 2025. The adjustments will improve reliability, convenience, and access across the region.
Below is a summary of all the changes.
Service Adjustments Effective Sunday, August 10
The current MCT Micro zone in the Logistics Valley area will be eliminated as the area will be served by the new #23 Logistics Valley Shuttle. This change address road construction challenges and rider feedback.
A new fixed-route shuttle will serve the Logistics Valley commerce centers as the Logistics Valley micro service is eliminated. The initial schedule and routing is dependent on the current IDOT construction in the area. After the construction on IL-111/270 is completed, MCT will release an updated schedule to further enhance service to:
- Gateway Commerce Center
- Gateway Tradeport
- Lakeview Commerce Center
The microtransit zone will now include MCT Wood River Station as a connection point and will remove Main & Edwards in Alton
as a pick-up and drop-off location.

A new microtransit service in Edwardsville, operating Monday – Saturday | 6:30 p.m. – Midnight.
This service expands late-night- access to employment, education, and retail destinations in Edwardsville and parts of Glen Carbon.
In addition to the main zone, riders will be able to request trips to/from:
- Hairpin Drive at SIUE
- Off-campus housing on New Poag Road
