MCT Public Meetings: Proposed July 2026 Service Change

Madison County Transit (MCT) will host five open house-style public meetings at the end of January to gather input on proposed changes to service in July 2026. These meetings give community members the opportunity to learn more and provide feedback on a variety of proposed modifications.

Proposed Topics Include:
  • Reducing the #1X Riverbend Express frequency and adjusting routing
  • Reducing #16X Edwardsville-Glen Carbon Express frequency
  • Adding a new MCT Micro zone in Troy | Maryville
  • Eliminating the #13 Troy-Glen Carbon as MCT Micro Troy | Maryville would service the area
  • Adjust routing on the #9 Washington Shuttle to no longer serve Humbert Road
  • Reduce/adjust service in Hartford due to low ridership
