Proposed August 2018 Service Adjustment Plan:

#14 Highland Shuttle
  • Due to a trend in declining ridership, and significantly lower performance than other MCT shuttle routes it is proposed to eliminate the route.

#16 Edwardsville Glen Carbon Shuttle
  • Add former #17 routing from Edwardsville Station (through Esic) to Peck Hall

  • Serve Axis Student Housing

  • Add service between Peck Hall and Cougar Village on weekends and during breaks.

  • Introduce Saturday service to May Apartments

#17 Cougar Shuttle
  • Adjust route and schedule to better accommodate SIUE student and staff travel patterns

  • Shift trips from Peck Hall to Edwardsville to #16

  • Eliminate unproductive route segments on Randle, Lewis and Union.

  • Simplify service to and from Cougar Village

  • Eliminate service between Peck Hall and Cougar Village (replaced by #16) on weekends and during breaks.
