MCT COVID-19 News

At Madison County Transit (MCT) the health and safety of our passengers, employees, and communities we serve is paramount. Therefore, in response to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) MCT is closely monitoring the rapidly changing situation and is staying in frequent contact with the Madison County Health Department (MCHD), sharing information with and making adjustments to how we serve the public as needed.

MCT Operating Saturday Level Service Until Futher Notice

As a result of significant declines in ridership due to coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) effective Sunday, March 29 all MCT routes will operate on a modified Saturday service level 7 days a week until further notice. This means that MCT will not operate express routes that serve St. Louis, and there will be no Sunday level service until further notice. MCT will operate a Saturday schedule for all routes, with the addition of the #13 Troy-Glen Carbon and the #20X Gateway Commerce Center Express.
