First Muny Express Trip to ‘The Producers’ on June 20

GRANITE CITY, IL, JUNE 9, 2008 . . . The only thing more “Loverly” than an evening at the St. Louis Muny is not paying for the gas to get there by riding the Madison County Transit (MCT) Muny Express! Convenient and affordable round-trip MCT bus service to the Muny’s 90th season begins Friday, June 20 with the Mel Brooks musical, The Producers. Riders on the Muny Express avoid parking hassles, high fuel prices and traffic congestion by enjoying a relaxing trip to and from all Friday evening performances at the Muny.

The Muny Express is $2.50 each way for adults (13 and older); $1.25 each way for: children (ages 5-12), senior citizens (over 65) and persons with disabilities. Children under 5 are FREE. Fares for the Muny Express are paid at the time of boarding. Buses will drop-off in front of the Muny 30 minutes before show time and will leave for the return trip 20 minutes after the final curtain from the same location.

Pick-up and drop-off locations for the Alton Muny Express are: Alton Square, Alton Holiday Inn, Eastgate Plaza, MCT Wood River Station and MCT Granite City Station. The Edwardsville Muny Express stops are: MCT Edwardsville Station, Cottonwood Mall, Maryville Park & Ride and Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville.
