MCT’s May Service Change will be implemented on Sunday, May 11, 2025. The adjustments include route modifications and MCT Micro expansions designed to improve connectivity and reduce disruptions caused by the closure of the IL-111 & 270 interchange, effective May–October 2025.

These changes are designed to maintain service during the interchange closure and improve overall connectivity in the region. See a map at the bottom of the page for a map of Logistic Valley service.
New MCT Micro – Bethalto | Cottage Hills
Service Area: Bethalto & Cottage Hills
Connections:
Centerstone in Alton (with connections to Routes #7, #9, #11)
Wood River Walmart (with connections to Routes #6, #12)
Operating Hours: Monday – Saturday, 7 AM – 7 PM
New MCT Micro – Logistics Valley
MCT Micro will replace the service lost due to the IL-111 & 270 interchange closure, covering the major warehouse district known at Logistics Valley, which includes Gateway Tradeport, Gateway Commerce Center, and Lakeview Commerce Center.
Additional Pick-up/Drop-off Points:
MCT Base of Operations
Liberty & Chain of Rocks transfer point (connections to Routes #4, #6, #20X)
Operating Hours: Align with the current fixed route service in and around Logistics Valley.
MCT Micro – Collinsville (Extended Hours)
Saturday evening service extended until 12AM (currently ends at 7 PM)
The #20 will be consolidated with #5 Tri-City Regional, restoring a direct ride from Emerson Park to Pontoon Beach.
Changes:
Service no longer provides direct access to commerce centers due to road construction.
Service ends at Gateway Tradeport.
MCT Micro – Logistics Valley will cover service in Lakeview, Tradeport, and Gateway Commerce Center.
Route #20X Gateway Commerce Center Express
No longer providing direct service to commerce centers due to road construction.
Increased frequency to Liberty & Chain of Rocks during morning and afternoon.
MCT Micro – Logistics Valley will cover service in Lakeview, Gateway Tradeport, and Gateway Commerce Center. Transfers available at Liberty & Chain of Rocks to Routes #4, #6.
