MCT Muny Express Season Begins with ‘Beauty and the Beast’ on June 25
GRANITE CITY, IL., JUNE 21, 2010 . . . If singing and dancing candlesticks aren’t enough to bring
Madison County residents to the Muny in Forest Park this summer, perhaps an affordable, hassle-free ride
on the MCT Muny Express will entice them to “be our guest.” MCT’s convenient round-trip express bus service
from Madison County to all Friday evening performances at the Muny begins this Friday, June 25 with Beauty
and the Beast. Riders on the MCT Muny Express avoid parking hassles, increasing fuel prices and traffic
congestion by boarding at one of nine convenient locations and enjoying a relaxing trip to and from the Muny.

Fares for the Muny Express are paid at the time of boarding. Buses will drop-off in front of the Muny 30 minutes before show time and leave for the
return trip 20 minutes after the final curtain from the same location. Pick-up and drop-off locations for the Alton Muny Express are: Alton Square,
Alton Holiday Inn, Eastgate Plaza, MCT Wood River Station and MCT Granite City Station. The Edwardsville Muny Express stops are: MCT Edwardsville
Station, Cottonwood Mall, Maryville Park & Ride and Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville. Passengers are welcome to park at any of the free Park

ensure seating capacity. No food, beverages, or coolers are allowed on the bus.
Madison County Transit (MCT) provides multi-modal transportation services for the residents of Madison County, Illinois. MCT operates fixed-route bus service
locally in Madison County, regionally to MetroLink, express weekday commuter service to and from downtown St. Louis; and seasonal express service to the Rams games
and the Muny. For elderly and disabled residents who are unable to use the fixed-route buses, MCT provides paratransit bus service. MCT is also responsible for the
